Battlefield 3™ Close Quarters Launch Trailer — Official E3 2012
Battlefield 3™: Close Quarters is one of five expansion packs included in Battlefield 3 Premium, together with a host of exclusive in-game items, early access, and more. In Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, players are dropped into a frantic, infantry-only theatre of war. Frostbite 2 high definition destruction makes the environment come alive as everything from furniture to plaster gets shot to pieces. Players will feel the intensity of the world exploding around them as rubble and broken pieces pile up on the floor, while tight level design and vertical gameplay create a highly competitive environment. Battlefield 3: Close Quarters also introduces new weapons, assignments and unique dog tags to bring back to the base game.

I never once insulted BF3. Lack of knowledge is not an insult, it is ignorance. I have not given any arrogant opinion, and for the record, an opinion by its very nature is biased. I don’t have to know jack about the gun game mode to give my opinion on BF3, which I do know a bit about. I know that BF has always been about teamwork and tactical game play, utilizing good squad mechanics and comms. To put a strictly FFA mode in goes against this principle, and therefore I don’t like it.
very well, i see now what were you trying to say by the first comment – fair enough, interesting opinion, nevertheless it can be seen by some people that the comment could have been criticizing BF for copying the mode from COD, which i understand now that it wasnt the meaning. misunderstanding. Although i have agree with your opinion on gun master, but Cq Dom still holds its fair share of battlefield style-its basically just faster and more close range BF – its still very different from COD imo
I haven’t even purchased it yet (mainly due to budgetary issues at the moment), so I have no idea how the CQ Dom works. I mean, conquest and domination were always pretty similar with slight variance, mainly the use of tickets instead of points (which I personally like more, since you can revive a team mate to restore a ticket). I just hope that Armored Kill and the other expansions really help better to satisfy the more old school BF players. The launch maps were already smaller than BF2 maps.
Also, I understand that having a biased prejudicial opinion on the expansion without having purchased it is not the strongest position. As for the Gun Master game mode, I was simply going off of the trailer, and how that mode generally has worked in other games.
First, I’m 25, not 35 . The only reason I even know anyone is replying to this crap is because for some reason, it won’t stop emailing me even though I’ve disabled email alerts. Those emails get sent to my phone, and show up in a similar manner to a text message, which every time, I hope is my wife. I’m over 1k miles away from her right now, and have been for 4 months, so texts from her are pretty important. To instead be greeted by some asshole calling me a retard for my opinion fires me up.
Second, to just throw out there ‘people like you should die’, doesn’t show much maturity on your part. I’m really not trying to argue on the internet. This really hasn’t been much of an argument with anyone, it’s been me defending myself from pointless insults. I stated a simple opinion that I believe BF3 needs to retain its originality instead of trying to be something it’s not with modes like Gun Master. Then, apparently I broke the 11th commandment by saying that CoD came up with it first.

It’s really not that big a deal at all dude. In all honesty, on a weekend, or after the work day, I’m sitting here bored as hell in an empty house. It’s been amusing seeing the CS fanclub come out of the woodwork to beat me down for saying that Gun Game came from CoD. I think everyone gets brave on the internet, because there’s a sense of anonymity to it, so they feel comfy saying things to people that they would never say face to face, even if only out of respect, or to avoid getting punched.
I’ve derailed this whole video long enough, so I really need to find a way to disable those damn email alerts. Hell, that’s why I’m responding to you so quickly. You have a good day as well, and maybe I’ll be running with you or against you some day on BF3. That’s the real reason we’re all here watching this video in the first place, right? Because of a common interest, that is Battlefield.
