EA is bringing some-more multiplayer stupidity to Battlefield 3 this week, and as usual, PS3 owners get a products first.

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters ups a ante with tightly-focused maps focused on raging skirmishes and straight gameplay. The DLC also adds 10 new Assignments, 5 singular dog tags and 10 new weapons, including a AUG Assault Rifle, ACW-R Carbine, and SPAS-12 shotgun. The container comes giveaway with Battlefield 3 Premium (a $49.99 pass for all stream and destiny downloadable content), though costs $14.99 when bought separately.

Look for a Close Quarters container when a North American PS Store updates after today, and stay tuned for some-more Battlefield 3 DLC – Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game – in a entrance months. The best part? PS3 will always get it one week early.
