Monday’s prep roundup: Battlefield girls soccer blanks Gar-Field

Colleen Gawkins scored 3 goals as Battlefield High School’s girls soccer group degraded Gar-Field 7-0.  Alexa Wagoner, Martina Trenholm, Tyanna Potter and Sarai Arbus also scored goals, while Trenholm, Sydney Sisk, Becca Callison and Wagoner had assists.

Courtney Dotterer done 7 saves in idea as a Bobcats softened to 4-0-1.

 

BOYS SOCCER

PATRIOT 2, POTOMAC 1: Kedin Zarceno scored his third idea of a deteriorate for a Panthers, while Louis Antwi had an support as a Panthers forsaken to 0-3 on a season.

 

BOYS LACROSSE

BATTLEFIELD 8, ALBEMARLE 5: Ryan Swingle led a Bobcats with 5 goals, while Michael Hanlon available one idea and 3 assists. Cameron Maples had dual goals and won 14 of 16 faceoffs.

POTOMAC 10, FOREST PARK 4:  In a Cardinal District game, Jason Will led a Panthers with 4 goals and an assist. Matt Boward total 3 goals and one support for a Panthers and Adam Will, Leo Brown and Zach Anderson any had a idea and an assist.  Matt Boward also had 8 belligerent balls and Jason Ksanznak done 10 saves for Potomac. 

RJ O’Neal and Joey Wilson any had a idea and support for Forest Park.  Joey Gregory and Steven Fields also scored for a Bruins and Josh McCullough done 13 saves in goal.

GIRLS LACROSSE

FOREST PARK 15, POTOMAC 5: For a Bruins, Claire Palermo-Re had 5 goals, 1 support and dual belligerent balls, Mallory Tluchowski had 4 goals, 1 assist, 1 pull control and dual groundballs, Heather Haight had 3 goals, 1 support and 3 groundballs, Kylee Shoop had 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 pull control and 4 groundballs and Nikki Tkac had 1 goal, 1 support and dual groundballs.

Molly Chester and Masyn Dillon were in idea for a Bruins. Chester authorised 4 goals and done 3 saves, Dillon authorised one idea and done 3 saves.

Forest Park softened to 4-0 altogether and 3-0 in a Cardinal District. Potomac is 2-1 and 1-1.

OSBOURN PARK 20, WOODBRIDGE 6: For a Yellow Jackets, Corinne Wessels had 6 goals and 11 assists, Anna Hull had dual goals and dual assists, Chelsea Chandler, Amanda Griffin, Renae Griffin, Allison Notarantonio and Alex Starnes any dual goals every and Katie White and Sandrine Wilson any had one idea apiece.

Wessels, McKenzie Blot, Andrea Meyer, Jordan Lewis and Jessica Hale total for 21 pull controls on a evening.

Katie Joe Lang and Dana Ware total for 7 saves in idea for Osbourn Park (3-2 overall, 3-0 in a Cardinal District).

For Woodbridge, Yania Delao and Erin Buckley any scored a idea and KC Buckley and Michelle Ferrian any had dual goals. Goalie Heather Kline stopped 9 shots. The Vikings fell to 1-2 in a district and 1-4 overall.
